The History of Revival Life Ministry

Revival Life Ministry was conceived in 1989 and was established in 1999, by Apostle M.A Simelane. God spoke to Him in an audible voice on three different occasions saying “Go demonstrate my power and make my voice heard”. This was accompanied by a vision where God wrote the name of the ministry, Revival Life Ministry and symbolized it in three colours; rich grass green to stand for rival, yellow to symbolize life and white to stand for ministry.

Having established the first centre in Madlangampisi, Swaziland, in 1992, to date Revival Life Ministry has born over 100 centres which are called Miracle centres, spread across the globe. But we know that God’s promise is for this vision to reach every country in the world.

We fully understand that without a vision people perish. Therefore, we are grateful to God for giving us this vision- may we be divinely enabled to be burdened with this noble work. The vision carries with itself a promise found in Ezekiel 47:9 “…wherever the river goes, everything shall live…”. For the advancement of the vision very pertinent landmarks have been outlaid by God Himself:

  • The word
  • Prayer
  • The Holy Spirit and His operations
  • Holiness
  • Praise and worship

The greatest pursuit of God is that His children be conformed to the image of His son Jesus Christ, this speak of the formation of Christ in a man. Thanks to the support of the members of the ministry and partnerships we have across the globe, you have made this a wonderful journey.

Revival Life Ministries began with a voice, a vision and a verse—Ezekiel 47:9: “Where the river goes, there shall be life.” What followed were miracles, divine confirmations, and prophetic instructions that solidified the name, the colors, and the global mission of this work. From humble beginnings in Madlangemphisi to the expansion of over 100 centers worldwide, the ministry has grown not by human ambition, but by divine design.

Our Founder
The founding apostle, Apostle Dr. Mandlenkhosi Simelane, was born on October 3rd, 1952, in the small town of Bethany, Swaziland. A pharmacist by profession, he completed his studies in Ghana in 1981. Even his name—Mandlenkhosi, meaning "God’s power"—hinted at the destiny ahead. In 1980, Apostle Simelane married the love of his life, and together they had seven children. While working at Swaziland Government Hospital, God called him into full-time ministry. The Lord spoke audibly to him on three separate occasions, and he eventually obeyed, resigning to follow God’s direction. He began preaching throughout Swaziland, and in 1992 formally registered Revival Life Ministry. That July, the first outreach campaign was held in Mandlangempisi, after which God instructed him to establish Miracle Centres. Since then, he has preached across nations, planted Miracle Centres, and founded a Prophetic Apostolic School where he serves as Principal. He is also the author of The Last and Greatest Revival, a prophetic guide to the final move of God.
